Advanced Thermal Sensor & Optics

At the heart of the Trail 3 XR50 is a 640×480 thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and <18 mK sensitivity, paired with a fast 50 mm f/1.0 germanium objective lens delivering 3-24x variable magnification. This high-resolution sensor delivers detailed thermal imaging that detects heat signatures at extended distances, helping you spot game and targets hidden in foliage, terrain, or low-contrast environments. The result is excellent target recognition, even in total darkness or adverse weather.

Built-In Laser Rangefinder & Ballistics

Precision starts with knowing exact distances. The Trail 3 XR50 features an integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) capable of measuring out to 1,200 m with ±1 m accuracy. Combined with Pulsar’s Stream Vision Ballistics app, this range data is used to calculate ballistic corrections, suggest a point of aim (SPOA), and manage ammo-specific profiles, helping improve first-round hits and long-range accuracy.

Versatile Display & User Interface

This thermal riflescope uses a bright Full HD 1920×1080 AMOLED display to present thermal imagery with high contrast and clarity. Multiple colour palettes (including White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Ultramarine, and Green) help optimise detection in different conditions, while a round Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode gives you close-up detail around the reticle while preserving the full field of view.

Durable, Field-Ready Design

Built for real-world use, the Trail 3 XR50 combines a robust monoblock housing with ambidextrous controls and recoil resistance up to 6,000 Joules. Its IP67 weatherproof rating ensures reliable performance in rain, fog, and wet conditions, and the unit will operate in extreme temperatures, making it ideal for UK and international hunting environments.

Connectivity & Recording Features

Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi and the Stream Vision 2 app allows real-time streaming, firmware updates, and remote control from Android or iOS devices. With built-in video recording and internal storage (plus cloud syncing), you can capture and share hunts or review footage later.
